And I'll show you what Gemini iand what it is acrosthe Google workspace. Gemini is the latest namfor Google's A.I. systeand it incorporates dueand a few other iterations of AI. And within Google Workspacethere's there's kind of a bit of a basiset up at the moment. Roll out, let's saywhere there's still lots of opportunityI think, for it to be even more powerfuinside the system. But it's kind of likthey're kind ofI think, dipping their toes iand trying to sort of differentiatGoogle Workspacor at leaskeep it up in the ballparof what Microsoft is doing. I don't think it's as good as Microsoftbut maybe down the lineif Google keeps iterating itit can get better. But I'm using Google Workspaceso I'm kind of stuck with whathe AI system is for themalthough I still use chatbots as well. So what you can dothere's functionality inside Google Doclike thisthere's there's writing coach templates. You can easily creata reply to emails like this in Gmailthere's the opportunitto add in or stimulator prompfor imageinside slides and throw in some images. And there's also some very easy to usbackground generatofor Google Meet as well, which you could. I think it's sort of overrated. I think a lot of these featureare pretty basicbut altogetheif you're in Google Workspacethen it can be quite usefuto have some of these. I think my favorite at the momenis being ablto just generate replies to emailand then edit the reply. It's much faster and easiethan writing something from scratch. So this ithis is Gemini inside Google Workspace. I'll give you some later on in the video. I'll show you some specific examplerather than just like a highlighlike this. But let's starby adding in Geminto your Google workspace. So we start by going into your admin. If you click up heremost pages inside Googleyou can get to all the different apps. And so we want to go down to admiand we click on an open admiand then we're going to go througand click on billinand we want to go to get more services. And then from this screewe can see the different levelminor in Hong Kong dollars. So that's why it looks a bit extremin terms of the numbers. It's about 7.8 HKD for 1 USD. But I can show you on the Gemini pagyou're looking at a cost oGemini business, which is ththe cheapest option at the moment. You'd be paying $20 a month or $2if billed monthlor for enterprisewhich seems at the momento just have the additional translatioelement $36 per montif paid monthly or $30 a month. So that's the Gemini pricing. Once you're into adminyou don't want to change any of thesat the moment. The best way to add in Geminis to click on Geminfor Google Workspacand then you'll be ablto click the add on herand purchase this. I'm going to be charged this amountwhich is, you know, roughl20 USD per month once it turns onwhich I think actuallnow that I look at itI think it's about 20 USwithout a 30% discount. And I think that exists for a few months. And this starts after 14 dayand I'm about halfwathrough this trial at the moment. So that's that's how to set iup, turn it on. It usually it activatewithin a couple of minutes. Once you've upgraded your accounin Google Workspacand you can decide to upgrade one useor you can add everyone on your accounto have the access to Gemini as well. So that's that side of things. Next, I'going to go through some exampleand real lifexamples of using the softwarwith Geminiusing Google Workspacwith Geminiincluding docs, sheets, slides and Gmail. So now let's gand have a look at real life examples. In the Google workspace. Gemini exists in a few placeat the momentI assumeand hopthat they're going to roll it ouacross many other areas. Many otheroffemany other featurebecause at the momenit still really feels like a minimuviable producjust to test it oukind of in a safe style. So I mean, I'hoping that they'll be ablto integrate the different softwara bit more togetherdifferent apps a bit more togetherand also have some kind of controfrom a drive perspective using A.I.. But this at the momenis just sort of a basic implementationI think, from Google. But I'll shoyou, we've got docs, Gmail, slidesmeeting matesyou know, meeor whatever, anand Google sheets as well. And of course you've also got Geminplatform as well, you knowso we can prompt the Geminlike chat app. Let's have a look at meeGoogle meeso we can the benefit of meets. I mean the feature that they've goall these backgroundso many different backgroundthat you start witand you can select froand basicallI mean there's a heap here alreadand I'm not surthe benefit of this featurebut you can generatyour own backgrounds with AI. So if this isn't enough for yoand you know, you can finwhat you're looking for hereyou can generate backgrounds. I mean, I would saGoogle Matshould have, you know, automatic A.I. trends transcribing as defaulas summarizing meetingthat you have with Google Meewould be a great application for A.I.. But at the momenwe're just looking at thikind of feature. So, you know, Santa Claus and Elvesand then we can generate a backgrounthat we're looking for. Okaypretty average as well. Okay, let's try another one. Okay. I see. Okay. I would say very strange. We're looking aI think we're looking at a combination oAI to generate an image. And then it's also telling ito apply it to a wallpapeor a background in some fashiolike this. look at this guy. Cool. So let's Google meeand then we've got Google slides. And similarlyit's pretty lame integratioat this point. The AI can only be useto generate imagewithin by using Gemini. So and we can throw it straight in. So like for exampleif we wanted to have a wizard workinon a computeand then we can make isort of illustration, let'do vector art. Cool. So we've got a few options herand then you can see it just drops it ilike that. Let's say on a white background. Okay. And so we almost have a white backgroundbut it's not, not quite. And then so what we would like to do theI think would bto remove the background. Yes. This is not an AI featureas far as I know. Cool. So now we can remove this guand then we've got this guy up herand then we can throw in this texthat easy. So somewhat useful, but still a lot morbenefit could be to help generatawesome slides. We got Google sheetsso this is pretty good. This is getting better. The we can starby creating a custom templator customize a template. So let's sawe wanted to have lika project management plan for an upcominnetworking evenand then we end up with this. That's pretty good. Took about 20 seconds to generatebut I fast forwarded it. Yeah, we got to insert that. And so we have everythinsort of really great starting point herwith dropdownstatus. It's very good to starwith another feature of Gemini insidGoogle sheetis this enhanced smart file. And this is supposed to work like this. This is an example they give. They've added in the dateand the reviewthat they've receivefor their restaurant. And then we've got a rating. And then as they add more ratings ithe I suggest the last nine rowbased on thsentiment mentioned in the review. Then we have Google Docand Google Docis probably the most fully formeapp in Google Workspace. So if wdo some tests, let'let me refresh this for a second. So when we open up Google Docwith the APwith Gemini installedwe can see we starwith these points here. We can start with a prompt herand we can say meeting templator meeting with an externaPR agency. Okay. And then we've got this here titled date. Okay, pretty generic template. The other thing we can do iwe can summarize content as well. So if we've golet's sayou've got a lot of contentlike I'm just going to copy thilike thiand you've got contenin your Google docyou can highlight the texand then this little button herewe can then change the tonemake it formal and more casualsummarize it, bulletinselaborate, shortenrephrase and make our owand usit to summarize like this. The only weird thing is idrops iin straight into wherever the cursor isso it can be a little bit confusinsometimes. Let's have a look in Google sheets. Gemini's might smart filled taskand now quite light incomplete columns. No more. Whoa predicts values to flow datentry becomes a delightso this can be quite useful in termof usinAI inside Google Docs and saving time. Then the last area I want to shoyou is probably my favorite areaand this is within Gmailso we spend a lot of timinside our emails every daand a lot of time we're writing emailor formatting emails in a wato be polite, to be friendlyand to include all the things you need. You should include an emaito avoid sounding rude or gruffor insensitive or something like that. So we all want to do that. But it does take a lot of timand allows us to quickly formaor creatreply emailas well as creating new emails as well. So I really like it for the reply emailsbut you could use it for anythinganything you likejust like having chattpretty or Gemini within Gmail inside. So let's say we've got this email herthat I've receiveand it's about an apthat they've just released in there. They hava biof feedback about somissues that they've goand I want to tell thethat I have some ideas for somethinthey could do to improve the app. Gmail automatically offers in the defaulin everyone's accountthe abilitto select some automatic replies. But if I click repland with Gemini installedyou can ignore this. This is a HubSpot integrationso you can ignore thathat you may not see that on this. Your is in the HubSpot extensionbut down herwe've got the Gemini integratioand we can say help mwrite a repland suggest an idea for allowing userto add blurring in the videsoftware. And then we can see that Gemini suggestthe full email. So we have. Hi, thanks for the updatand glad to hear that the bug is fixeso it's responding to that email. The content in that email ionly if you could add a featurto the software that will allow uto add blurring to videos. That would be greato add privacy to videoor to create a more professional. I've tried the docs feature quite a biGemini in docand I've compared it to Gemini itseland the Gemini in docs is not as smartnot as good. Doesn't summarize in in a human like waybut instead, you knowlike an old fashioned computekind of way. So it doesn't really quite give thfeelinthat it's quite there yealthough Gemini itself does. If you use Gemini, the Gemini app here. So it may be a different versioor it may be some other limitationbut I find sometimeI just copy it from Google Docpasted in the Gemini apand then it saveit creates better content for me. And so so again, not quite there. The whole point of this is that Geminshould be integrated inside Google Docand if I'm going to copy and paste isomewhere elseI can paste it in ChatGPor anywhere else. So it doesn't really save any time. So they need to probably fix that. They need to roll out additionafeatures inside each of these tooland inside drive itself. And I hope they hopthey'll do that soon. It'd be great to test that out. I'm really hopinby supporting thithat there'll be additional featurecoming in anand can compete with Microsoft and Officand ChatGPT and Microsoft's AI.
