in this video i want to talk about somof the rumors we've heard about thiupcoming iphonand why they've convinced me to upgradthis septembewhen apple releases it at their annuaevent the first thing thainstantly caught my attention was thrumor oin-display touch id coming to the iphonin october of 202love to dream tweeted out mesa utts foiphonwhich john prosser then translated tunder the screen touch isince then multiple sources likbloomberg and mingchi kumention the same thing but also sayinthat the 2021 iphones will be keepinface iand then in january joanna stern frothe wall street journasaid the exact same thing this isomething that i missed dearly from mold iphone 7.
i loved touch id and that is one of thbiggest reasons whi did not want to upgrade don't get mwrong face id is greabut there's something about being ablto unlock your iphone without having thold it uthat i really liked i also have to havtwo separate face id scans for myselboth witand without glasses which really suckbecause you're only limited to twand i'd really like to be able to set uanother person with my face ion the other hand with touch id on tholder iphoneyou could have up to five fingerprintand of course for the past yeaface id has been the opposite oconvenience because of maskyou either had to pull it down omanually type in your passworevery time you were out in publialthough with the release of ios 14.you can finally unlock your phone with mask obut you need to own an apple watch whica lot of peopllike me don't so that madno difference and touch id would havbeen perfect to havbut now with the iphone 13 we'rexpecting to get the best of both worldliterally because it could have thatouch ibut still keep face id as well so yowon't have to worry about having youphone out or faccovered so that's something i'm reallexcited foand according to mark german the scannewill be supplied bqualcomm just like the samsung phoneand the fingerprint sensor in the newess21 ultris amazing being much improved from thprevious s2because of its new size so it'extremely reliable and fasand i'm really excited about getting ion the new iphone howeveming chi kuo recently made anothestatemensaying that the 2022 iphones will getouch imeaning that there's a chance applwon't make it happen with this year'but of course nothing is confirmed sfingers crossed the next thing thaeveryone has been waiting forever fois a smaller notch and we're finallgetting ifor over six months we've had manconflicting leaks about the new notcwith some people claiming it will bthinner with the receiver moved to thtoand others claiming it will be less lonand more a hamburger stylit seems more likely now that it'll enup being the latteso we can expect the 13's notch to loosomething like thinot only that but the face id systewill be redesigned animproved and because of thafront-facing portraits would be betteas welwhich is great we've had this same notcdesigfor years and like i said i have a 10and i'm already so sick of it it's hugand extremely outdated at this poinmost phones on the market have a tinhole cut out on the display that'barely noticeablthis huge notch is a pain and gets ithe way when you're watching videomovieand playing games it's about time thasomething changeso i'm really looking forward to owninan iphone with a smaller notcand that could also make the fronfinally stand out from the rest of thiphonethe next thing that's super exciting ithe additioof an always on display samsung haalready been making phones with thifeaturbut now we hear that the iphones wilhave it toaccording to max weinbach and everythinapple prit will display the time battery lifanminimalistic notifications the always-odisplay on the apple watch lookgreat and it's a huge conveniencfeature that many peoplspecifically upgraded for and along witthat we're finally gettin120 hertz after years of anticipatioa lot of people thought we were gonnget it on the iphone 12so when we didn't it was a hugdisappointmenapparently that was because of batterlife concernapple had to choose between 120 hertrefresh rator 5g for the iphone 12s anthey chose 5g because it's much mormarketable to the massebut that issue will be solved this yeawith a newer bigger batterso now apple can include that 120 hertadaptive displawhich will be supplied by samsung thiis something that'already flagship it's something that alphones should havso apple is only now just catching up tthis point this is a big reason whi want to upgrade the 120hz displays othe samsung's are extremely nice ansmootmaking the hertz on iphones looterriblin comparison and with promotiotechnology apple could possibly limithe always on display to one hertz ithey wanted tlike on the apple watch so that woulsava lot of battery but as expected thifeature will most likelonly be coming to the pro models whicwill create a higher incentive fopeople to spend morlast year out of the entire 12 lineuthe best-selling model was the regula12. bunow that could possibly change anothebig change said to come to the lineuis vapor chamber cooling this is greabecause the current models are beinlimitedue to heat issues currently iphones dnot have a cooling systethey cool passively which means that thheat gets transferred to the chassithus cooling itself down vadim has dona multiple gaming comparisons with th12 pro maand it always ends up dimmindrasticallespecially when playing games likgentian impact that require a lot opowethis can be very irritating because icondemn itself to the point where it'difficult to see and plathe previous samsung note 20 ultras wershipped with both graphitand vapor chamber cooling and apparentlthey both workepretty well so if the iphones ship witthis cooling systethey should be able to perform much mucbetter something else we're hearinis that censorship stabilization frothe 12 pro max modeshould be coming to the entire 13 lineuthis is exciting because the tecworks great on the 12 pro max it makevideolook like they're shot using a gimbal ayou can see from this video that vaditook last yeaanother thing that's coming is aimproved qualcomm x60 modeand wi-fi 6e this basically means thabattery life will be much more efficienwhile using 5g with the new modeand there will be much less crowdinwith the new wi-fi 6a small change that's also beementioned are stronger magsafe magnetthis isn't a huge deal because maxsafis already pretty stronand works great however there are a feproducts like apple's magsafe wallethat don't hold on very well especiallon the 12 pro maso with upgraded stronger magnetaccessories like that should be morsecurwhich is a nice bonus i'm pretty excitebecause i'm planning to use mug safwall mounts around the housand it's nice to know that my phone wilbe safe and secure with all of that saithose are the reasons why i will finallbe upgrading miphone 10r to the upcoming 13.
