laptop to supporspend this one probably does you jusslip it in there you're not gonna losit what else we go this one doesn't loolike it's retail but so we are getting tilt pen HP has different pen versionthis is their premium upgrade this onactually supports tilt and also chargeby USB see just plug the power adaptefrom this laptop into this let's take look at the power brick we're gonnreally tease this out if you want to secame to make G you're gonna have tstick around okay nice visit I have noseen this whole barrel charger so thought this laptop would actually comwith USB see our waiting and it why dwe have to that's interesting so we gea standard it looks like we're getting standard charger maybe this is a mistakwe have a USB see charging and then whave this one which looks beefieprobably a 150 watts so 150 wattI guess maybe they want to show us syou get both options I don't know iI will clarify with HP drop the powecable 150 watts this is like a standar65 to 80 watts let's find out cuz can't write getting old and it's plastion here I can't read this it is so tinlooks like a standard 65 watt chargehuh it'll be interesting to see what yocan run this laptop often of previous one it's hadiscrete graphics oh man you godiscrete graphics and you got like dual-core they upgraded that to a cabla car exactly current x36 a spectre x3615 if you go and buy it right now you'rgonna see the cable link our versiowith discrete graphics geforce MX 15graphics HP interestingly makes both I'gonna guess though that this one igonna kill it sibling because KB Lake and of course if you don't know Kb LakG is that shotgun wedding between Inteand AMD you get a quad core KB like ouCPU and then you get a custom graphicpart full name Radeon rx Vega in quoteM in this version GL graphics thabasically means it's an AMD custographics core it's called Vega it's gosome Vega things for what I know it istill pilar space but good news has Hm2 and it has high bandwidth cache a loof the cool things from Vega so it's bihybrid in performance though we'rtalking 1050 TI 1050 1050 i in fact iteraflops it actually falls somewherbetween a 1050 TI and a 3 gig 106desktop part so what our people argonna use this laptop full so thilaptop basically is capable of gaming mean very decent you know reasonablgaming at 1080p I'm gonna guess 1080medium maybe high and some older gamebut I would not expect you to run ansuper high resolutions in fact thipanel in this particular modethey're giving you a 4k IPS touchscreewith pen support you're not gonna brunning 4k games on this unless it's aRTS or something what else you get it ia convertible I'm a big fan of thesconvertibles it's really funny theseemed really strange at first but iyou use a convertible long enough yoreally sort of could you really grow tlike it I mean there's just you don'know was running like that but when yodo it's really great and they have pesupport let's look at the ports startinthis side full-sized HDMI to Thunderbol3 ports fingerprint reader it also doehave an integrated IR camera for Windowhello biometrics and the fingerprinreader other side type-a yeh powebutton very nice is bailed out so yocan reach it and looks like a standarSD card reader and a headset cable let'turn it on just to see what we see thiparticular one has the Core i7 80 705 quad-core turbo 4.1 gigahertz base o3.1 and again that Radeon rx Vega MGgraphicoh and here's a logo actually this iprobably the first time we've seen thfinal logo people like the little badglogos but you're seeing core i7 8th gecable a car is 8th gen with radio and RVega M inside look at that so we'rgetting touch for K and again if yobought a normal consumer laptop that wabrand new from the factory you get iyou have to settle up a lot of thesunits come straight from their test labthey want to make sure they don't catcon fire on us that's uh that's a normathing you want to make sure thingactually work they also do that witconsumer units too but you know a lot othe stuff is very very early hardwarOrdnung and I always get this so do yoknow when this is going on sale and homuch it's gonna cost so this particulamodel I don't know how much it is I knothe current one with a KB like R and Gor MX 150 is about $1,800 this one has 4k panel 16 gigs of ram and 512gb SSI'm gonna guess this thing is gonna bpushing 2500 bucks at least it's nogonna be super cheap so see ya agai80 705 16 gigs got everything there arwe gonna now this is gonna blow peoplaway here's the this always blowpeople's minds because you don't get thread we're gonna fire this up looyou're getting go away Dropbox adyou're getting the Radeon utility iblue yeah and people used to I'm on thinternet yeah but people use to AMeverything is ready until corporatcolors are currently blue so you'rgonna see these things searchablgraphics you're gonna see the thingwith the intel colors not the AMD colorin performance we're gonna be running bunch of games as well as our standarcpu test to see how well it does but kind of say again look let's wind bacthe clock a little bithe first version that I reviewed of ththe spectre x360 15 kind of dual-corCPU in it I think it was probably skylake part dual-core skylake or KLake part and like a low-enagain low in nvidia discrete graphicthis is giving you a quad-core withyper-threading with up to a four poinone gigahertz boost and we're talkin1050 TI like possibly even faster tha1050 TI performance in an incrediblthin laptop and yeah actually looking athis that oh yeah so we do get 130 watcharger 150 watts is it 150 I forget syou get your Center barrel charger anthen I'm gonna guess you can also run ioff of Thunderball you can chargusually their HP laptops you can alscharge off the USB C I doubt they givyou both but maybe they do you want tgo on the road you don't really carabout just charging a little bit but yowant to save some weight again probabl2,500 bucks we're gonna see really hothis thing does I actually just finishetesting our first coffee like eh laptopjust six core laptops I've got to sareally compelling there that is aawesome CPU I have high hopes for KLake G as well I mean I really thinthey're really pushing everything thecan out of the CPU and they they do wanKB Lake g2 to succeed so of course thiis only one of two can't be like laptops the other one is a Dell XPS fothis is the first one we've seen we'rgonna see how this stacks up against thcompetition does it make sense to reallgo out by kb lake are with iMX 150 or KB Lake G with KB like our CPand basically what is the equivalent oI don't
